Deutsche Bank Appointed as Successor Depositary Bank for the Sponsored Level I American Depositary Receipt Program of British Airways Plc

Deutsche Bank today announced its appointment as successor depositary bank for the sponsored Level I American Depositary Receipt (ADR) program of British Airways Plc (British Airways).

“We are delighted to be selected as successor depositary bank for this notable program. We look forward to working with British Airways to further enhance its ADR investor relations and to develop the program further.”

British Airways is one of the world’s leading global premium airlines. Its principal place of business is London with significant presence at Heathrow, Gatwick and London City. British Airways also operate a worldwide air cargo business, largely in conjunction with its scheduled passenger services. Operating one of the most extensive international scheduled airline route networks, together with its codeshare and franchise partners, British Airways flies to more than 300 destinations worldwide. In 2009/10, it carried nearly 32 million passengers.*
