Mutual Funds Against Cancer Announces Interactive Data Corporation as Foundation Partner for 2010

Mutual Funds Against Cancer (MFAC), one of the leading advocates in the fight against cancer within the mutual fund and financial services industries, today announced that Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC), a leading provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions, will serve as its Foundation Partner for 2010.

2010 will mark the third consecutive year that Interactive Data serves as MFAC's Foundation Partner. MFAC is an organization that raises funds to benefit the "Expect Miracles" Discovery Fund, which supports the Center for Applied Cancer Sciences (CACS) at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. CACS focuses on research and treatment for the six deadliest cancers including lung, melanoma, colon, pancreatic, gioblastoma, and multiple myeloma.

"By working with leading firms in the financial marketplace like Interactive Data, we've found that together we can expect miracles," said Frank Strauss, co-founder and chairman for MFAC. "Through Dana-Farber's partnerships with Harvard University as well as Children's and Brigham & Women's hospitals, the impact of the innovative research MFAC is helping to support can be felt worldwide."

Despite market conditions last year, MFAC continued to grow and expand its programs and events in 2009. Raising more than $3 million to date, MFAC has expanded its reach to the West Coast by introducing the Expect Miracles Charity Fall Classic. This event mirrors MFAC's Golf Charity Classic on the East Coast, which attracts over 500 senior financial executives. In addition, MFAC was selected for the fourth consecutive year as "Charity of Choice" for Institutional Investor's Mutual Fund Awards Gala and will be handing out its "Expect Miracles Awards" at the event in April 2010.

"Interactive Data is proud to partner with MFAC in support of funding innovative research that is working toward a cure for a disease that impacts so many of our lives," said Ray D'Arcy, president and chief executive officer of Interactive Data. "Our extended relationship with MFAC underscores our commitment to a cause that we feel is universally important."
