Independent PR agencies Broadgate and Mainland are to merge creating a major force in financial and professional services PR.
The new company, called Broadgate Mainland, brings together two highly respected PR agencies with complementary services and skills, establishing a full-service agency that combines media relations, corporate and digital PR.
The new agency has a diverse roster of blue-chip corporate and consumer finance brands. It will be overseen by Broadgate founder Roland Cross, with Neil Mainland and Mark Knight as directors.
Roland Cross, director, Broadgate, says “Mainland like Broadgate sets the same high service standards for clients and both share an energy and ambition for growth. Last year Broadgate implemented a new business plan which resulted in key hires of senior industry experts across alternatives, digital and financial technology and this merger is the next stage continuing our development.
“Creative solutions are required to meet the challenging business environment and Broadgate Mainland has a highly skilled and experienced team, which will deliver results that drive growth, enhance reputations and build credibility for clients.”
Neil Mainland, director, Mainland, says “Our combined energy will deliver more for our clients through a stronger team with a greater range and depth of experience. As respected PR agencies, with strikingly similar hands-on approaches, Broadgate Mainland’s offer will be focussed, relevant and very powerful.”
“The merger is an exciting opportunity for both companies to expand into new areas of business.”
Broadgate Mainland, with 30 staff, will be based at Broadgate’s City of London offices once the merger is completed in mid-October.
