Banque CIC (Suisse) selects Stelink for its new strategic messaging platform

Sterci, the leading international software provider of SOA solutions for STP, today announced a new Stelink contract with Banque CIC (Suisse) The bank has selected Stelink for its new strategic financial messaging platform.

The financial messaging field is rapidly evolving - driven by new requirements to integrate XML standard ISO20022 and Anti Money Laundering compliance solutions. Furthermore significant savings can be done using SWIFTNet FileAct for low value payment transactions and it requires new additional functions for bulking individual transactions into batch message file such like for SEPA, Corporate to bank payments or Worker remittances.

Last summer Banque CIC (Suisse) started an evaluation process to replace its MINT product. Banque CIC (Suisse) was looking for a product based on latest technology (including standards such as JEE, XML and SOA), able to handle SWIFTNet services as well as SIC and Secom Swiss local market clearing infrastructures.

Roger Buser, member of the management team at Banque CIC (Suisse) said, “Stelink allows us to integrate the access to all SWIFTNet services (FIN, RMA, FileAct, InterAct) together with SIX Swiss services for SIC/EuroSIC and Secom. Stelink also supports the latest XML standards. The Stelink Web Interface facilitates user access at different Banque CIC (Suisse) locations without any deployment effort. We are convinced that Stelink is the strategic platform that covers all our requirements and Sterci is the right partner for STP” added Roger Buser Etienne Savatier, Head of Marketing and International sales, commented, “We are proud Stelink has been selected by Banque CIC (Suisse) as a strategic solution for their new messaging platform. This rewards us for the continuous investment in our products which on the basis of Service Oriented Architecture provide message entry, transformation and connectivity functionality. Our solution is best positioned to replace existing products that are not compliant with JEE and XML standards such as MINT, MERVA, PROSWITCH or BESS. We have an impressive and proven track record of successful replacement projects in those fields, which make Sterci the vendor of choice and the premier independent vendor within the financial messaging market.”
