Cassidy Davis Move All Their Lloyd’s Life and Property Business Onto Sequel

Lloyd’s insurer, Cassidy Davis, have now expanded their use of Sequel’s Underwriting software into their Life and Property divisions. Now all their Lloyd’s business is running on Sequel’s systems.

Cassidy Davis, who are focusing on growth and business diversification, chose Eclipse Underwriting for its flexibility and configurability, its fast and accurate access to data and the ease with which it connects to, and integrates with, other systems. This allows them to add new lines of business quickly and easily as well as streamline their business operations.

Their new Life and Property system holds all Cassidy Davis’s business data in one rather than many places. This brings the company greater speed and efficiency in its work as well as greater visibility of their data and increased compliance.

Sequel have worked closely with Cassidy Davis since 2005, when they chose Eclipse Underwriting to modernise their personal lines business. That implementation of Eclipse was delivered in just seven weeks.

Theodore Agnew, CEO of Jubilee Managing Agency Ltd, the Cassidy Davis parent says: “Sequel and Eclipse Underwriting give us the flexibility to meet our current and future growth plans through a strong partnership and technology solution that can quickly adapt to our needs. By moving our Lloyd’s Cassidy Davis business onto Eclipse Underwriting we are streamlining our business and making real efficiency gains.”

Michael Graham, Director at Sequel adds: “The successful implementation of Eclipse Underwriting for the entire Lloyd’s operations at Cassidy Davis coincides with an important period of growth for both Sequel and Cassidy Davis. For Cassidy Davis, as for all our clients, we are focussed on successfully delivering change programmes that deliver tangible benefits.”
