Atlantic Fund Administration Selects SunGard's Asset Arena Investment Accounting Solution

SunGard today announced that Atlantic Fund Administration LLC (Atlantic) has selected SunGard’s Asset Arena Investment Accounting solution, as an ASP offering, to support its back-office processing. Atlantic is a US-based full-service, third-party administrator with extensive industry experience relating to investment companies. Asset Arena Investment Accounting is SunGard’s Web-based investment accounting and reporting solution that supports multiple asset types and product structures on a single, global platform.

John Keffer, chairman of Atlantic Fund Administration, commented: "SunGard's Asset Arena Investment Accounting solution is an ideal choice for Atlantic. After reviewing other systems, we found that SunGard gives our highly-focused operations the same level of investment accounting functionality as that used by providers processing trillions in assets. We are now able to power our fund accounting and administration operations with a flexible, scalable and cost-effective ASP platform, allowing us to focus on service and customer satisfaction. As such, our clients will benefit from the customized service and a comprehensive range of asset servicing capabilities."

Doug Morgan, president of SunGard’s institutional asset management business, said: “SunGard has made significant investments in the Asset Arena Investment Accounting solution, with the aim of delivering customer benefits such as accelerated time-to-market for new product features, enhanced data access and dissemination, improved workflow and expanded reporting capabilities. Our ongoing focus on enhancing Asset Arena helps administrators like Atlantic to better serve their clients in a cost-effective manner. We are pleased to be working with Atlantic and look forward to supporting the company in meeting its growth objectives.”
