Richard Petti to head Orange Business Services UK

Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions has today announced that Richard Petti will take over as the head of the highly successful UK operation. Petti will be replacing Guido Reynaerts who will take on new responsibilities within the company.

Petti comes to Orange Business Services with many years’ experience in the financial markets, having spent nine years at SunGard Trading & Risk Systems, followed by two years at Qumas. At SunGard, which he joined in 1996, he had a number of roles, including heading the European professional services group for the division, and as managing director of much of the EMEA region. Later, as the global head of sales for SunGard’s Adaptiv credit risk product line, Petti led SunGard to a position of market leadership through a product relaunch which built an impressive blue-chip client list. Successfully taking the product line to the US market was central to the strategy and there Petti’s team achieved significant wins for SunGard.

At Qumas, the compliance specialist, Petti spent two years setting up the financial services group, designing and executing their financial services strategy, and establishing Qumas’s European and American operations. In this role he helped Qumas to achieve and consolidate a leading position in the market.

Guido Reynaerts led the UK for almost four very successful years. During this time he substantially increased the client base and doubled the revenues.
