Expensewatch.com rolled out a major release to its operating expense control service this week providing robust tools for small and midsized companies to automate and manage credit card reimbursements and payments.
“As businesses expand their use of corporate credit, purchasing, travel and ghost cards, they need more flexibility and functionality to track, manage and control card-based spending,” said Michael Welsh, executive vice president of product strategy and management for expensewatch.com. “This new release provides sophisticated, yet easy to use tools for finance teams and expense report filers, simplifying card charge management, while shortening the reporting and reimbursement process.”
“We remain focused on providing small and midsized businesses comprehensive Web-based tools to control and reduce operating expenses,” said Bill Vergantino, president and CEO of expensewatch.com. “Our customers regularly provide valuable insights into how they would like to see the product evolve. Their feedback was critical for ensuring this release significantly streamlines and enhances a company’s ability to control and manage credit card expenses.”
The new credit card features consolidate and make available in one location all accounts, charges and statements. The new service makes it easier for the people who file expense reports to upload and match charges to transactions. Company finance teams will find a broad-range of tools to simplify statement processing and reconciliation, while enhancing the visibility and control of credit card expenses.
Expensewatch.com supports an unlimited number of credit cards, allowing companies to manage multiple corporate and personal cards at the same time. A new credit card dashboard provides finance teams with complete visibility into charge counts, totals and statuses on all credit cards in the system. Individual expense report filers have the same visibility into all the cards in the system assigned to them.
