Utilising new technology and an intuitive user interface, Microgen’s Payment Control System (PCS) allows organisations to adapt to regulatory change such as SEPA and the Payments Services Directive and the UK Faster Payments Scheme. PCS provides a single, integrated, interface between an organisation’s multiple payment systems and external payment bodies allowing for the adoption of new regulation and payment types quickly and with the minimum of risk.
“Microgen is delighted to have launched the latest version of Microgen PCS our payment control system” said Elizabeth Sipiere Managing Director, Microgen Banking Division. “PCS has been redeveloped using Microgen Aptitude®* and includes a host of new features in an innovative architecture as well as including all existing PCS functionality. PCS underlines our strong commitment to the payments market and our continued drive to enable our clients to gain and sustain competitive advantage through the use of cutting edge technology” she concluded.
PCS is used by both banks and corporations to fully automate payments (both payables and receivables) via direct debit, cheques and other payment methods. It can be used across numerous banking products from current accounts, through mortgages, to other savings instruments.
The PCS web-based front end has advantages for both the company & the customer. The customer has the flexibility to manage their payments 24 hours a day whilst the instant access to information enables the company to provide a higher level of customer service. This, in turn, leads to improved internal efficiency.
