Odyssey has received further recognition in two recent parallel surveys: SecuritiesTech 50 and FinTech 100. SecuritiesTech's survey of the top 50 front-office solution providers globally ranks the company 13th while the FinTech 100 places it at 78th.
The SecuritiesTech 50 front-office solution providers survey reviews services providers such as institutional broker-dealers, prime brokers and correspondent clearing firms, as well as traditional technology vendors that provide front-office solutions.
Size, growth and future prospects were the key factors for being included in the list of providers evaluated. Technology providers were ranked according to number of seats or users. This placed Odyssey in the top third, attesting to the expanding adoption of the solution and to the company’s growth potential.
“The ranking shows Odyssey as the second largest provider of front-office solutions in private banking and wealth management. This proves that our solutions are very competitive throughout the global Investment Management industry” says Charlie Barrass, CEO of the company. “In the past few years, we have seen a significant expansion in global coverage with the opening of offices in Singapore, Munich, Frankfurt, New York and Tokyo. This is further evidence of the suitability of our solutions on a global scale and reinforces our position as a leading provider of private banking and wealth management software solutions world-wide.” said Mr. Barrass.
In addition to SecuritiesTech 50, Odyssey was ranked 78th in the American Banker and Financial Insights FinTech 100. This survey is an annual international listing of the top vertical technology vendors who derive more than a third of their revenues from the finance industry. Global revenue was a key criterion, highlighting Odyssey's stability and importance to the industry. Odyssey is one of the few non-American companies recognized by the survey, which is all the more surprising given that the company has only been active in the U. S. for three years.
