– Benchmarks Provide Real-World Validation that eEMS Provides Processing Performance Consistent with Large Financial Institutions’ Requirements for Enterprise-Wide Deployment –

Monett, MO – June 19, 2006 - Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY), a leading provider of integrated computer systems and ATM/debit card/ACH transaction processing, today announced that the Enterprise Exception Management Suite (eEMS) provided by its ProfitStars division has generated record performance benchmarks.

eEMS is an innovative enterprise risk management solution that helps financial institutions mitigate the risks associated with their financial and operational data.
The record benchmarking results were generated using the latest release of the eEMS software and an existing client’s production data. The benchmarking tests entailed overnight processing of more than 4 million records generated by three of the client’s primary transaction processing systems in order to:

- Perform sophisticated data validation and enrichment to support research;
- Match and clear transactions;
- Automatically research and generate correcting entries under rules control; and
- Assign remaining exceptions to users for Web-based research, resolution, and clearing.

eEMS effectively extracted the required data, executed sophisticated data enrichment, and stored the enriched data in a database at a rate of approximately 6 million records per hour. One-to-one data matching also was performed at a rate that translates into the equivalent of 4.6 million records per hour, and many-to-many data record matches were performed at a rate that translates into the equivalent of more than 24 million records per hour. These benchmarking results were based on a records-matched-per-hour rating using a Windows® 2003 server with four CPUs and 4GB of memory. The database server was running Red Hat Unix with two CPUs and 8GB memory.

Despite the impressive results of the latest benchmarking tests, they do not reflect the upper limit of potential processing throughput that could be realized using different hardware and parallel processing configurations.

According to David Foss, general manager of ProfitStars, “The latest version of eEMS furthers our goal to provide the fastest and most reliable system performance that is available from any enterprise reconciliation and exception management solution. We believe that large financial services organizations now have real-world validation that eEMS offers processing performance that is consistent with their requirements for scalable, enterprise-wide deployment."
Additional details about the most recent eEMS benchmarking results as well as other performance results are available by contacting ProfitStars or by visiting the ProfitStars booth (booth #1706) at the upcoming SIA Technology Management Conference being held June 20 to 22, 2006 in New York City.
