Boston, MA (June 13, 2006) - Eze Castle Software (ECS), a leading provider of technology solutions to multi-strategy global investment managers, announced today that they have completed the implementation of the ECS OMS and portfolio modeling applications at London-based Centaurus Capital. Centaurus is ECS’s 34th implementation of 2006.
Centaurus, a multi-strategy hedge fund, chose ECS for its ability to manage complex strategies, FIX connectivity and data integration as well as their local London support team. ECS’s strategy management functionality enables Centaurus’ fund managers and analysts to tag and track orders at multiple strategy levels. ECS also established a new interface for Centaurus to transmit position, trade, and strategy data between their book of record, TRADAR, and the ECS OMS. ECS’s London-based client support team conducted all implementation, connection coordination, and training efforts.
“Selecting Eze Castle Software as our technology partner was an easy choice,” says Simon Ryley, Chief Technology Officer at Centaurus Capital. “The products are flexible and easily adapted to our preferred workflows. Our analysts are now able to model strategies and generate orders that will flow directly to the trading desk through ECS’s portfolio modeling application.”
“The service we received was excellent,” continues Ryley. “Our Eze Castle Software representative was on-site to conduct a workflow analysis, manage the implementation, and train our team on the products. He remained on-site for the week after we went live to provide additional support and training.”
"Our London hedge fund clients choose our product suite for its unique blend of real-time technology, strategy management, multi-asset class trading, and seamless back-end interfaces to third parties,” says Sean Sullivan, EVP, Director of Global Sales. “Our localized client support is another big factor. Our support team personnel handle product implementation, training, client relations, and on-site support. Our team in London is exceptional at looking after the needs of our London client base."
