Swissrisk Financial Systems, a leading provider of financial solutions for European banking institutions, announced that Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken S.A has implemented its Asset Management and Funds Open Architecture integration solution to manage its messaging and connectivity to SWIFT and other messaging infrastructures.
“In our continuous efforts to reach automation and straight through processing (STP), we are very happy to announce that we have now taken a big step in making this possible. On June 12, 2006, Custody Services in combination with the support of the IT department here in Luxembourg, successfully implemented the X-Gen Asset Management solution (ISO 15022) that will be our base message handler to allow STP of security trades for the institutional clients industry,” says Nabil Gharib, formerly SEB Head of Custody Services Department.
“SWIFT instructions received from clients represent roughly 40-45 percent of our total volumes on the institutional client segment. For the staff, this development and process improvement means spending much less time on manual or exceptional handling and freeing up time to focus more on pro-activity and value added services towards our clients.” "A giant leap in the right direction! We are extremely pleased with the results," remarked Louise Dahl and Sonia Loconte, Custody Operations Officers for SEB.
“It’s a challenging fact,” added Peter Marshall, Swissrisk’s CEO, “that every message type usually involves different business processes and different communications channels. Managing such a diversity of messages, business processes and communications flows are the core competency of our Asset Management and Funds Open Architect solutions.”
Asset Management and Funds Open Architect are powered by X-Gen, certified SWIFTReady Gold for Financial E&I for eight consecutive years. Swissrisk is a SWIFT Solution and Service Partner since 1999.
