Daimler Chrysler Bank has chosen SPECTRUM from PROFILE to manage its financing processes so as to achieve full task automation for their consumer-lending department in Greece Such a selection re-enforces PROFILE’s position as a provider of integrated software solutions to financial institutions of international status.
Daimler Chrysler is operating in 39 different countries and offers a wide range of financial services including loan products to its customers and partners across the world. The Bank will commence its operations in Greece by the end of 2006.
In addition to SPECTRUM Daimler will combine its core banking processes with NOUS CRM – a sophisticated Customer Relationships Management platform developed also by PROFILE– which provides the appropriate tool to facilitate customer selection, risk management and service processes in one system.
Moreover, NOUS CRM platform forms the basis for delivering highly
customisable workflow management, aiming at securing the highest level of customer service, as well as the management of employees’ workload.
This complete Solution supports handling of customer applications, credit risk management function – from scoring to securing customer loan with collaterals – the administration of the loan including collections and delinquent accounts management, as well as third parties commission, performance bonus, collection fees, etc. The Solution also provides for a sophisticated Central Bank Reporting facility, which supports both Hellenic and Polish regulatory requirements.
It is worth noting that these banking procedures are exceptionally complicated since they require simultaneous transmission and processing of data among different countries that use different currencies and have different types of accounting practices. Due to the accounting reconciliation needs of the data, which result from the different accounting procedures the two countries are subject to, (Greek Accounting Standard & IAS), the systems would be fully integrated with SAP’s ERP solution that the bank is already using.
Among the primary reasons for selecting SPECTRUM over others are:
