Former HP Executive, Karen Slatford, to Fill Role

Austin, TX – May 1, 2006 – The Neverfail Group (Neverfail), a leading global software company providing affordable high availability and disaster recovery solutions, today announced Karen Slatford as its new non-executive Chairman. Her appointment will enable Neverfail Group CEO Neil Robertson to spend additional time growing the business worldwide. Neverfail tripled its worldwide revenue during the company’s fiscal year ending March 31, 2006.

Slatford succeeds Hugh McCartney who is transitioning to become CEO of a US-based technology company. McCartney has been chairman since October 2004 and oversaw the company’s Windows-based product expansion and its additional funding from US venture capital firm Fidelity Ventures.

Slatford currently serves as executive chairman for HAL Knowledge Solutions, an Italian-headquartered business intelligence software vendor; as a non-executive chairman for Portwise AB, a Swedish security software company; and as non-executive director of The Listening Company, a UK-based company focused on the outsourced call center market.

Her professional career includes 18 years with Hewlett-Packard Ltd. where she grew her career from the sales manager ranks to become Chairman HP UK Ltd., as well as VP and General Manager Worldwide Sales and Marketing for the Business Customer organization.
