Prelude Signs First PointPay™ Customer

Insurance company automates mobile payments

NATICK, MASS. (February 8, 2005) — Prelude Software Inc., innovative designer of disbursement management solutions, today announced the signing of a Midwest-based, national, multiline insurance corporation to implement PointPay. The insurer will use PointPay to issue payments at the point of adjustment in their mobile claim offices and automatically upload claim data to their home office systems.

In 2006, Prelude’s newest client will issue payments from their new mobile claim offices using Prelude’s PointPay solution. The mobile claims offices will help adjusters accelerate claim closure. By automating the issuance of claim payments at the point of adjustment, insureds will receive a professional check and exceptional customer service. Replacing the handwritten checks that were previously used not only enhances the company image but it will also enhance payment security and reduce administrative costs by replacing manual processes with automated uploads.
