Eze Castle Software has Banner Year in 2005

Cites client and revenue growth, investment in products, and investments in people and culture

Boston, MA (February 1, 2006) - Eze Castle Software (ECS), a leading provider of technology solutions to multi-strategy global investment managers, had a record year in 2005. ECS signed over 50 new order management clients, completed 73 product implementations, launched two new product lines, and achieved nearly 35% revenue growth in 2005. ECS attributes its success to a client-focused corporate culture that drives both product innovation and a commitment to high-touch client service.

“Our core strength as a company has always been a culture based on listening to our clients. We think of ourselves as a partner rather than a vendor,” says Tom Gavin, Chief Executive Officer of Eze Castle Software. “For example, we continuously look to our clients for feedback on our strategic development initiatives. The end result is a product suite that evolves with our clients’ businesses.”

Eze Castle Software’s development efforts in 2005 focused on the continued enhancement of core product functionality as well as the introduction of new technology. New enhancements were made to trading, analytics, p&l, compliance, and settlement functionality to fully support all aspects of the trading process for global, multi-asset class, multi-strategy investment managers. Today, over 50% of ECS clients are trading in multiple asset classes, 60% trade globally, and 20% have added additional strategies to their investment management framework in the past twelve months.

ECS also launched two new products, the ECS Algorithmic Trading Framework, integrating over 100 algorithms offered by over 20 brokers into the client’s OMS desktop, and EzeMobile™, a secure access portal that allows investment managers to perform and monitor key investment tasks from a hand-held device or standard web browser.

“Our customer-centric approach does not stop with our development process,” adds Gavin. “To call yourself a partner and not just a vendor, you need more than just great products. Our commitment to a high–touch, client-service model is truly unique. We do not simply install software and hand off a business card with a 1-800 support number. Instead, we focus on providing our clients with highly trained teams of frontline consultants backed up by a host of experts in everything from electronic trading to data transfer services. It is our unique installation, service, and support model that helped us to successfully complete over 70 product implementations in 2005.”

In an effort to continue to build upon its reputation for top notch service and support, Eze Castle Software also enhanced its employee training program in 2005. The expanded training program now provides new opportunities for employees to develop their product knowledge, industry knowledge, client-service skills, technical skills, and leadership skills. In addition to a wide array of classes taught by internal ECS resources, employees can attend classes taught by external industry experts and are sponsored for various external certifications including the CFA Institute and Microsoft. Currently, over 80 employees are working on external certifications while in the last month alone ECS celebrated 16 employees who have passed various external certification exams and two received their full CFA charters.

“We want to develop business leaders who understand technology, finance, management, and all aspects of our industry,” says David Quinlan, President of Eze Castle Software. “The enhanced program gives our employees the opportunities to expand their knowledge of the financial industry and to better understand our clients’ needs.”

Eze Castle Software has over 250 clients based in the U.S. and U.K including investment managers, mutual funds, pension plans, broker dealers, and hedge funds.
