Eagle Investment Systems Executive to Address Importance of Global Investment Performance Standards at PARM13
Performance Measurement and Attribution Expert Will Address Current Issues Surrounding the Latest Performance Measurement Standards
LONDON – On Wednesday, November 9, 2005, Bruce Feibel, senior vice president of Eagle Investment Systems LLC and executive general manager of Eagle PACE™, will present at PARM13, IIR’s Performance Attribution & Risk Management event being held at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.
Author of a best-selling guide to investment performance measurement, Feibel will present "Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) Update," a presentation covering the latest changes related to global investment performance standards. Specific topics he will address include the:
Reasons behind the CFA Institute’s revised version of GIPS®;
Benefits of a single, globally accepted set of standards; and
Key provisions for implementing the new standards.
Author of Investment Performance Measurement published by John Wiley & Sons, Feibel is a featured presenter on the subject of investment performance measurement and other investment management issues. With more than 20 years of experience in developing and managing investment technology, he is responsible for the software development, quality assurance, and product support of the Eagle PACE and Eagle Performance solutions. Eagle PACE is the industry-leading investment data hub and portfolio management and investment reporting system. The Eagle Performance suite is made up of investment performance measurement, attribution, AIMR/GIPS compliance, mutual fund performance, and investment reporting software modules.
