Seminar in Yekaterinburg

VILNIUS, November 2005/Forbis Ltd. – the Forbis Company and the Jet Infosystems Company on the 20th and the 21st of October, 2005 conducted a seminar in Yekaterinburg for the representatives of the Ural region banks, Russia.

The seminar "Problems and Tasks of Consumer Crediting in Russia; Possible Solutions" was organised by the Jet Infosystems Company for banks and financial institutions in the framework of promoting applied financial systems.
The goal of the seminar was to acquaint banks with the FORPOST Banking Information System, developed by the Forbis Company. The system allows automating operations in commercial banks. The greatest attention was paid to the automation of the crediting process with the help of the Forbis Company’s product, the integrated part of which is a crediting module along with other products and services offered by the company.

The seminar was dedicated to the most relevant issues of retail banking business. The following topics for discussion were suggested: "The Ways and Stages of Consumer Crediting Development in Russia"; "Management Strategy in the Development of Retail Banking Business"; "Formula of Retail Business Success – New Ideas and Approaches to a Private Customer"; "IT Architecture for the Effective Building-up of the Banking Business".

The programme of the seminar included reports of the representatives of authorised consulting companies and independent experts in the sphere of retail crediting, as well as the reports of the leading specialists of the Jet Infosystems and the Forbis companies, along with presentations and demonstration of the services and solutions provided in the sphere of banking automation.

In this meeting the Forbis Company was represented by Mr. Andrej Zujev, CEO and Mr. Arthur Alechknovich, Chairman of the Management Board. The Jet Infosystems Company was represented by Mr. Alexey Gerasimov, Head of the Applied Financial Systems Department, and Mr. Konstantin Kazakov, Head of the Work with Banking and Investment Organisation, together with other representatives of the both companies as well as different regional banks, many of which consider replacement of the old banking information systems to a new modern and efficient BIS. The FORPOST system evoked great interest among the representatives of the banks, who took part in this meeting.
