Datawatch announce Middle East deal with 3M

3M Gulf Ltd and recently established, Datawatch Middle East, both based in Dubai, announce deal for Datawatch to supply its Monarch Pro software to 3M, a recognised brand leader.

Rob Graham, Product Manager for Datawatch Middle East, confirmed: "3M is a global major league player and we are delighted to have them as long term customers. It is a pleasure to be supplying our latest version of Monarch Pro V8 to such discerning customers".

Datawatch launched a permanent presence in the Middle East during 2005, recently exhibiting at GITEX for the first time. The company already has a strong presence in the US, the UK, Germany and France. Graham confirmed that there had been many early gains in the region. "Anyone with lots of reports and data to handle is a potential Datawatch customer. What our customers are looking for is not more technology but solutions. Allowing non I.T. professionals to ask questions directly of the data base is simply information made easy. Research shows that management spends 10% of each day just looking for the information they need to manage. Our products and solutions facilitate that need. It is easy to spot a Datawatch customer, they are the ones who can leave the office on time and have little use for ‘Pending’ trays.

Mohammed Azam Zia, IT Manager of 3M Middle East Country Subsidiaries stated: "We have been Monarch users for the past 6 years. Monarch is a unique and helpful tool, which easily interfaces with our internal systems. It is a great product for organisations dealing with large amounts of data. Monarch Pro Version 8.0 is more versatile then past versions as it supports many types of file formats and is extremely stable".

Graham believes that the future is very bright for Datawatch Middle East. "The reception we received at GITEX was astounding and our product range attracted incredible interest from potential customers as well as prospective resellers".
