MarketXS is one of Europe's 500 fastest growing companies. Outstanding employment growth earns MarketXS 60th place on 2005 Europe's 500 Listing

Schiphol-Oost - Netherlands, October 18 2005: MarketXS, the leading provider of real-time market data technology and trading solutions, today announced that it has been listed No. 60 amongst the fastest growing European companies included in the 2005 Europe's 500, the annual ranking of high growth, job creating companies published by Europe's 500 Entrepreneurs for Growth and supported by Microsoft and KPMG.

This year's five hundred dynamic, entrepreneurial-driven companies who qualified for Europe's 500 have managed to sustain growth since the year 2001, boosting employment and sales at an impressive average annual rate of 14%. Despite the challenging business environment, these champions of growth have created more than 130,000 jobs across Europe in three years. On average each company has created 86 new jobs per year and increased sales by 19.2 million euros per year.

MarketXS is one of 19 dutch companies who managed to qualify for Europe's 500, and one of 3 to make the top 100. 'We are delighted to have made the Europe's 500 list,' said Floris Alkemade, MarketXS Founder and Chief Executive Officer, crediting discipline, passion, and a company-wide entrepreneurial spirit for the sustained revenue growth.

The Europe's 500 listing identifies rapidly growing European companies for their employment creation and rapid growth. MarketXS will be officially recognized and honoured for its business achievements and growth in employment at the Europe's 500 Awards Dinner on 19 November in Barcelona, Spain. MarketXS is also featured in this week's edition of Business Week Europe (see issue October 14, 2005, with a special feature on 'Europe's Hot Growth Companies'.

'The Europe's 500 ranking shows that growth is not industry or sector specific. Companies that qualify for the Europe's 500 manifest entrepreneurial leadership, innovation, job creation, vision and market expertise. Essential qualities that support the European Council's strategy for sustainable growth',comments Martin Schoeller, President of the association Europe's 500 Entrepreneurs for Growth.
