J O Hambro Capital Management Improves Client Reporting with StatPro Enterprise Reporting

J O Hambro Capital Management (JOHCM), a UK based fund manager which prides
itself in offering an alternative to the large traditional fund management firms dominating the market, has successfully completed the implementation of StatPro’s Enterprise Reporting solution (SER).

JOHCM formed in 1993 and today has over 60 employees and £2.2 billion of funds
under management. The firm is dedicated to managing specialist funds and segregated portfolios for sophisticated investors, setting and adhering to a clearly defined style and investment process.

JOHCM were looking for a solution which could provide them with a new, fresh,
professional look for the site, automate the monthly reporting process and at the same time enhance the quality of those monthly reports.

JOHCM selected StatPro’s Enterprise Reporting solution (SER), a product specifically designed for asset managers. SER is an innovative client communication solution which generates and distributes fact sheets, client valuation statements and enables the creation of secure investor websites.

Sven Kuhlbrodt, Marketing Director at JOHCM, commenting on the selection process, said: "We looked at about 6 agencies. Some were pure brand & design specialists, some were pure performance data specialists, and some claimed to provide both. StatPro was unique in that it wasn’t just a pure performance statistics provider. As a package, it made a lot of sense to us."

By implementing SER, JOHCM have a new, professional website which provides
detailed information to their clients and frees up valuable management time which can be used for other marketing activities. Another key achievement for JOHCM is that they resolved their distribution issues by launching the website. Their client reports are now available as downloads on their website.

"Basically, I think the overwhelming feedback is that it’s a vast improvement in terms of the look and feel of the design, the functionality and also the depth & breadth of information we provide," says Sven. "It’s a compliment for what the software does in terms of the reporting side of things. By and large we are very pleased."

With regard to how the JOHCM website compares to their competition, Sven feels that the JOHCM website is "One of the better ones and certainly amongst the top quartile!"
