INTER HANNOVER COMBINES EUROBASE'S SYNERGY AND PRISM SOLUTIONS FOR INCREASED OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY

Inter Hannover, the European insurance arm of Hannover Re Group, has decided to implement the Eurobase business intelligence system, Prism, across its operations. Inter Hannover has been a user of Eurobase’s Synergy underwriting system since 2001 and Prism was selected in combination with Synergy to help Inter Hannover improve its reporting and risk management processes as well as increase productivity.

The combined system offers Inter Hannover a single, integrated solution. In addition to supporting the insurance company’s operations, the system will also provide a powerful reporting tool that will put greater risk management controls in place and make the underwriting processing more efficient.

This integrated approach is particularly well suited to supporting a delegated authority network where various agents are using different systems and data formats to process policies. The software solution simplifies multiple communications with its advanced technical architecture that supports total flexibility in format and content of import files.

Synergy provides support for creating and maintaining binders, covers and schemes as well as for account processing with insurers and producers. It also helps handle special claims administration, documentation and execution reporting. Prism will provide a store for detailed information that offers comprehensive reporting and analysis functionality, which will support informed decision-making.
