This module enables users to perform online checks into the margin calculations produced by the back office or broker.
GL TRADE, global provider of electronic trading, clearing and settlement solutions today announces the launch of its Margin Checker module, a new cross asset class margin management tool.
Margin Checker, a module of the UBIX web product suite, allows end users to enquire into the margin calculations produced by the own internal clearing system or the system of their broker. Reports and enquiries using existing positions or what-if scenarios can be run on-line and the multi format results can be saved or e-mailed to end recipients. Margin Checker is designed for use with any derivatives back office system and is already completely integrated
with the GL TRADE UBIX clearing and settlement system. It can be operated as a standalone utility and offered as a white-labeled function.
Andrew Hobbs, Head of UBIX Business Development comments: "Margin Checker is one of a suite of new web component products under development within our Business Line. We are particularly pleased with the rich functionality, high volume scalability and responsiveness of this module which leverages the global, cross asset class margining functions and server side capabilities of UBIX. We are confident Margin Checker could easily be integrated into the
workflows of brokers of any size as well as providing fully functional online check and what-if scenario calculation capabilities for end users such as Hedge Funds, Arcade Traders and Buy Side institutions."
