London, 12th July 2005, NOMAD Software today announced it has achieved the "industry optimised" status in IBM’s PartnerWorld Industry Network for Banking. NOMAD can now take advantage of IBM’s sales, marketing and technical expertise to develop and deliver on demand solutions that meet customer requirements in the financial services sector.
NOMAD Software is a leading provider of front end switch and card management applications to the retail banking sector. The company supplies card payment systems based around its NOMAD CORTEX product set - an offering which has been optimised to run on IBM eServer platforms. Customers using the latest version of NOMAD CORTEX have the choice of using IBM’s WebSphere Application Server as well as their database Informix.
