Fully Functional Fractal Maps Easily Accessed Through Your Web Bowser

London, UK – 31st June 2005 – Fractal Edge today announced the first two elements of its Fractal Map ‘web client stack’ designed to give web users access to the interactive display of live Fractal Maps within a web browser. The ActiveX plug-in for Microsoft Internet Explorer and the extension for Mozilla-based web browsers will be made available for general distribution at the end of July.

The plug-ins are compatible with Windows NT, 2000, XP and 2003 platforms. The ActiveX plug-in works with Internet Explorer, while the Mozilla plug-in is compatible with Mozilla-based browsers including Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape and Beonex.

"The provision of ActiveX and Mozilla plug-ins in the Fractal Edge web client stack will ensure our customers can deliver fully functional web-based Fractal Maps to a broad audience of internet users", said Gervase Clifton-Bligh, CTO, Fractal Edge. "We will be providing further alternatives in the stack over the coming months to ensure this audience can include Mac and Linux users as well as users situated behind firewalls with highly restrictive security policies."
