Jacksonville, FL -- (February 16, 2005) -- Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE:FNF), a Fortune 500 provider of products and outsourced services and solutions to financial institutions and the real estate industry, and its Fidelity Information Services ("Fidelity") division today announced a five-year relationship with Minnesota-based Wings Financial Federal Credit Union ("Wings Financial"), the first credit union in the country dedicated to employees of the air transportation industry. One of the nation's largest credit unions with nearly $1.5 billion in assets and more than 118,000 members, Wings Financial will implement Fidelity's MISER suite of technology solutions--encompassing core processing, browser-based branch automation, business intelligence and CRM capabilities. A comprehensive and completely integrated solution, MISER will position Wings Financial to achieve greater efficiencies through process automation and workflow improvements while delivering superior service to its rapidly growing member base.
"Our recent move to a Trade, Industry and Profession field of membership has further fueled our aggressive growth plans and retail-focused business approach, requiring us to seek out not only a more powerful technology platform, but also one which we can operate with great efficiency," stated David Mason, vice president and chief information officer of Wings Financial Federal Credit Union. "Under highly competitive conditions, the Fidelity team quickly demonstrated both their commitment to and understanding of our market as well as their ability to deliver an integrated solution tailored to our specific growth plans and efficiency goals."
Core processing activity for Wings Financial will run on Fidelity's MISER system, an integrated and open solution designed to help mid-tier to large credit unions with complex business and operational needs speed processing, manage workflow and automate many traditional credit union functions. Wings Financial will also deploy MISER Business Intelligence, which places sophisticated analytical capabilities into the hands of every level of the credit union's staff, from the back office to executive management. In addition, Wings Financial will implement MISER Branch Automation, a browser-based solution that will deliver teller, platform, call center and back-office functionality via the credit union's intranet and provide its employees with the ability to view and manage member relationships on an enterprise-wide basis via a single, intuitive user interface. Finally, Fidelity will deliver integrated MISER CRM capabilities--complete with contact, prospect, referral, sales and campaign management tools--to help Wings Financial maximize the lifetime value of member relationships.
"We're extremely pleased that Wings Financial, having completed a thorough evaluation of available alternatives, recognized the value of MISER to both the credit union as well as its members," said Santo Cannone, senior vice president of Fidelity's Integrated Financial Solutions division and executive in charge of the company's credit union business. "With the integrated and open standards approach deployed throughout the MISER suite of solutions, our clients can streamline end-to-end systems and processes and proactively devote more energy to securing new market opportunities. Specifically, Wings Financial can now drive enterprise-wide efficiencies in its retail operations even as it scales operations to meet the increasing demands of its expanding field of membership."
