Rand Merchant Bank Asset Management and OASIS Asset Management Select Symmetrix Compliance from Kizen

Kizen is pleased to announce two new sales of Symmetrix Compliance in South Africa. RMB Asset Management and OASIS have selected the ‘best of breed’ compliance system to manage their full investment compliance function including regulatory compliance, client mandates, investment risk analysis and investment data integrity.

Symmetrix Compliance provides a single integrated investment compliance environment offering comprehensive functionality and workflow tailored to the needs of the compliance function. The power of the system lies in it’s infinitely flexible rules engine that empowers end users to take full control of the rule management function. The sophisticated design utilizes the power of Microsoft .NET combined with 12 years of hands on experience in the asset management market to provide a truly unique product for the investment compliance market.

Investment compliance is increasingly under the spotlight for investment companies as clients and regulators become more sophisticated and the regulators crack down on non-compliant firms and trustees. Symmetrix Compliance will deliver process benefits to RMB and OASIS by providing information and workflow tailored to the needs of the compliance function, allowing the compliance team to focus on resolving breaches and other value-add tasks and ensuring the organization as a whole has a clear and concise view of the status of investment compliance at any point in time.
Kizen have now successfully implemented Symmetrix Compliance in four sites in Pretoria and Cape Town in the nine months since the product has been completed. The fact that the implementations have been in vastly different environments from conventional asset managers to pension funds and multi-managers has demonstrated the power of the best-of-breed approach to the product development.
