· School Employee Benefit Authority installs FINEOS Claims Manager to improve customer service and reduce costs

Dublin/London/Portland ME, February 16 2005 - FINEOS Corporation, the leading innovator of financial services and government software, has announced that Canada's Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (ASEBP) has deployed FINEOS Claims Manager as a front-end solution across its plan administration system.

Implemented over four months, the out-of-the-box solution provides functionality in five key areas. First, it provides users with a single view of customer and plan information, covering life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, extended disability, extended health care, dental care, in addition to vision and hearing aid care benefits. This allows users to access portfolio information quickly and easily without having to navigate through multiple back office systems. Second, all contacts made in relation to a party or case are recorded.

Third, image integration is provided so that all available contacts, tasks and images are available for service staff. Fourth, advanced Microsoft Word® integration enables the creation of ad hoc documentation, drawing from a library of templates. Finally, underpinning the solution is process automation for the intelligent creation, routing and monitoring of tasks. Critically, this helps to improve service levels, reduce hand offs and consequently improve customer service.
