Telekurs Financial provides Information Mosaic (IM) with its ISO 15022 corporate actions feed to interface to their corporate actions product CAMA™.
IM is the first SWIFTReady Corporate actions accredited solutions provider to
integrate to a Telekurs Financial corporate actions feed delivered in ISO 15022
format in the UK and Ireland. Telekurs Financial is the first data vendor to provide IM with a live feed in this format.
Telekurs Financial ISO 15022 corporate actions data is conformant with the
May release of the Market Data Provider User Group Principles and has been
live since 27th September 2004. The data is delivered in FileAct message batching format as defined by SWIFT and available via Valordata Feed Server
(VDFS) or SWIFTNet.
Information Mosaic is taking the feed via VDFS which is an internet/FTP site to
manage and automate Telekurs Financial’s Valordata Feed (VDF). Features include intraday and end-of-day corporate actions feeds as well as on an adhoc
request basis. This can be delivered via SWIFTNet. The company also has access to Telekurs Financial’s Valordata Browser (VDB) which has powerful search functions on the whole of Valordata Feed’s 2.2 million instruments.
Financial Institutions looking to move corporate actions into an STP environment now have a mechanism to achieve this through a combination of Telekurs Financial adoption of the ISO 15022 standard and the processing power of Information Mosaics corporate action solution CAMA™.
"Telekurs Financial remains committed to evolving standards as well as working with third parties to create packaged solutions." said Beat Koch, CEO of Telekurs (U.K.) Ltd.
Gerard Bermingham, VP of Professional Services with Information Mosaic, commented; ‘Today’s regulatory environment has moved the need for high quality financial data from a return on investment (ROI) business case to a best practise requirement. Only by the proper integration of such feeds can the benefits such as straight through processing (STP) be realised.’
