Imagine Software’s New Release Offers Enhanced Usability and Increased Functionality

VERSION 6.0 INCLUDES NEW USER INTERFACE AND BROADER FIXED-INCOME AND RISK MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

New York: December 7, 2004. Imagine Software, a leading provider of "software on demand" trading and risk management solutions, today announced the release of version 6.0 of its system.

The new release adds breadth and depth to Imagine's risk management functionality and support for fixed-income derivatives products, and features a simplified user interface.

"Imagine has always held the leading position as an equity risk management and trading platform," said Mark Friedman, a principal at AM Investments, a New York-based hedge fund and long-time Imagine customer. "It's now become a much more powerful tool for fixed-income as well."

Version 6.0 supports a number of new interest volatility products, including forward rate agreements, variance swaps, and options on Eurodollar futures.

The new user interface, which has a more intuitive Windows look and feel, gives traders immediate access to their most commonly used functions, including P&L details, the security master, and their most frequently used portfolios, books, ledgers, securities and curves.

"With the release of 6.0, Imagine has greatly simplified its GUI, making it much easier to navigate. They have also enhanced and added new features, including an advancement of its fixed income module,” said Geoff Allan of CSFB’s Prime Brokerage Risk unit. "All of these upgraded features will certainly increase the value of Imagine to our clients."

Enhancements to the system's risk management features include a rolling volatility capability that enables users to better visualize trends in volatility data using key rates across a number of time horizons.

"We spend a lot of time listening to our clients," said Steven Harrison, Imagine’s President. "The new release is a direct response to their suggestions. We built a lot of infrastructure into this release to support further fixed-income, risk management and user interface enhancements coming in future releases."

The new features are available on the company's enterprise-level Imagine Trading System, and Derivatives.com, its hosted risk management solution.

Imagine was recently ranked first in equity trading analytics in Risk Magazine's annual Technology Survey, and placed favorably in nine other categories.

Imagine is the only vendor offering a complete enterprise software system as a software-on-demand solution.
