Stockholm, Sweden, 2nd November, 2004 - Panopticon, the supplier of real-time visualisation tools, today announced a partnership with the consultancy firm Kynetix Technology Group. Kynetix specialises in business solutions for Financial Services with a focus on Asset Management and insurance.
Panopticon’s proven visualisation platform will be a part of Kynetix’s PowerView offering targeting fund managers and insurance/re-insurance companies. The offering includes a consulting engagement where Kynetix provides an assessment of the existing business processes and gives strategic advice on the client’s needs and derived value from using a new metaphor for decision support. The low-risk engagement delivers a working tree map solution based on the client’s data, allows them to interact with front-end users and gives them the ability to tailor solutions to fit each client’s unique needs. Kynetix also offers implementation services ranging from software application development to web-enabling existing solutions.
Kynetix has the expertise to assist financial institutions to migrate from existing platforms to XML Web Services using technologies such as Microsoft .NET and Java/J2EE.
"Panopticon’s technology is the most impressive business intelligence software we have come across in the marketplace. Their solutions are ideal for our key markets and will give our clients a new competitive edge," said Paul Smyth, CEO of Kynetix.
One of Kynetix’s existing customers, considered to be one of the fastest growing alternative Asset Management operations in Europe, has recently signed a three year contract and will shortly launch a Panopticon solution for their 25 hedge fund managers.
Panopticon VAR partners use the highly configurable Panopticon Enterprise Web Solution or Panopticon’s SDKs to quickly transform their business process and industry expertise into unique solutions that deliver an intuitive "big-picture" overview with the ability to easily navigate huge amounts of complex data in real-time.
"Kynetix is one of the UK’s leading professional services firms in the financial community with excellent skills in asset management and the .NET and Java areas and we are delighted to sign them on as a partner," said Willem De Geer, CEO of Panopticon.
