AMS-Rackley Releases SETWrite™. Single Entry Transactions for agents; real-time rates direct from carriers

Windsor, CT – AMS-Rackley’s newest product, SETWrite, has been released to current and new customers in 15 states. Ten additional states will be released in October and the remaining 12 states supported by AMS-Rackley will be completed by December 1st when the Texas, IRSAIMS division of AMS-Rackley will be supported in the SETWrite platform.

SETWrite, a web application built on the Microsoft® .NET framework, is available with over 600 carriers whose rates currently reside in AMS-Rackley products. The exciting technology in SETWrite enables agents to enter information once into a single interface and receive rates and related information directly from participating carriers in real time along with manufactured rates from those carriers who have always been included in traditional comparative rating. With its single-entry functionality, data entered to generate a rate is ready for submission as part of the policy writing process.

The original companies participating in SETWrite with carrier-direct rates are: The Hartford Financial Services Group, Drive Insurance from Progressive, St Paul Travelers, Penn National Insurance, Hanover Insurance and Citizens Insurance from the Allmerica Financial Group and Kemper Auto & Home, a Unitrin Company. Additional participating carrier-direct partners are:
Allstate Insurance, Encompass Insurance, Deerbrook Insurance, Celina Insurance Group, Central Mutual Insurance, Mendota Insurance and Electric Insurance Company.

Salil Donde, president of AMS-Rackley stated: "SETWrite offers significant advantages to both our agent customers and carrier partners by delivering a workflow the industry has been asking for. The simplified workflow makes it easy for agents to submit business to their carriers. We have been working with many carriers since the introduction of SETWrite and we will be announcing additional carrier-direct partners in the coming months."

The initial release of SETWrite includes Automobile and Homeowners lines of business. Additional personal and commercial lines of business will be added to SETWrite in the next several months. Additional features being delivered in this initial release include integration to all of the major agency management systems along with 3rd party data information such as credit, claims and motor vehicle reports. Integration to the Marshall & Swift / Boeckh RCT™ residence
valuation technology is also part of this release.
