CityCompass and Bloor Research publish the most in depth analysis of corporate actions and information vendor systems and services

London, 10th September, 2004 – CityCompass, the independent facilitator of contemporary market issues affecting the financial services sector, today announced that the Bloor Research report based on the B.I.S.S. benchmarking has been published.

Gary Wright, Managing Director of CityCompass and creator of the benchmarking concept stated "The 2004 Benchmarking event once again attracted the industries leading vendors who proved to the buyers the quality of their systems and services. The Bloor Research report is an outstanding piece of literature that really informs the buyers and vendors the actual state of play in this market. The report should be the starting point for anyone interested in understanding the corporate actions and Information services market whether a financial services firm or vendor. The BISS Gold accreditation was awarded to those systems that achieved the benchmarks in the three industry sectors of Asset Management, Broker/Dealer and Custodian and the report demonstrates that there is only a small percentage difference between many of the vendors who took part, with Information Mosaic taking the honours by a nose in a very competitive race. Next years BISS Gold accreditation event is already on the starting blocks with some new and exciting additions and it will be extremely interesting to see how the vendors develop their systems during the year to try and achieve next years demanding business benchmarks"
