LONDON 9 September – Information Mosaic’s corporate actions automation application, CAMA™, has received the accolade of the GOLD AWARD in all three Industry sectors: asset manager, broker/dealer and custodian, in the CityCompass benchmarking competition B.I.S.S. (Benchmarking International Software Systems) Gold Awards, judged by Bloor research. This is the only independent benchmarking award for corporate actions automation software. "This is a fantastic result for everyone at Information Mosaic who have worked so hard over the years to make CAMA™ a success", said John Byrne CEO of Information Mosaic, "it demonstrates to the market that we have, indeed, achieved product leadership. CAMA™’s success is due to having the best and most motivated team in the industry. It justifies the large investment our team has made over the years and our commitment to global functionality and technical excellence."

In order to judge the different software applications, each vendor completed a comprehensive questionnaire on their product functionality in two categories: business requirements and technical functionality. In depth interviews were then conducted with each vendor to understand the technical framework, the system development and implementation methodologies. Bloor research also conducted telephone interviews with the vendors’ reference sites and a panel of seven industry specialists judged the products and awarded the scores.

In addition to the Gold Awards, Information Mosaic received a merit commendation for their innovative and effective implementation methodology, and was also singled out as "having a very bright future." "We were delighted to be recognised as the vendor who has excelled in more complex areas of corporate actions processing including tax reclaims and claims management", said Grace O’Donnell, VP of Sales commenting on the following quote taken directly from the report: "Information Mosaic has consistently scored well in the difficult area of corporate actions". Information Mosaic also achieved the top scores in the difficult sections of claims management and book cost apportionment
"It’s an honour to be part of this benchmarking process and being evaluated by such high-calibre industry experts", remarked John Byrne.
