- NFS develops Market Information Interface (MII) in conjunction with government institution.

- Market Information Interface enables scheduled upload of market information from financial data providers to realise immediate return on investment (ROI).

Gothenburg, 09 August 2004 - Nordic Financial Systems (NFS), the provider of technical and business integration services to the treasury industry, today announced the launch of its Market Information Interface solution for users of Finance KIT.

This new product, developed in conjunction with a leading government institution, will provide Finance KIT users with a cost effective means of receiving market information from providers including Bloomberg and Reuters into the Finance KIT application.

Bloomberg and Reuters feeds are required by organisations for portfolio valuation and risk measurement. MII provides an alternative to companies who do not require this information in real-time as it is currently offered.

Magnus Lind, CEO, NFS comments: "For many organisations a real-time data feed is excessive for their requirements and the end result is that they incur high cost with little return. MII is a perfect solution for organisations who value portfolios and measure risk at intervals or simply at end of day, enabling them to realise an almost immediate ROI."

The MII product provides static and semi-static data using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) files from a host-to-host link with a market information provider. The upload of the data feed is scheduled on the Finance KIT server and can be configured to run as often as needed, giving complete user flexibility and control.
