ACI Worldwide Adds New Customer and New Country to Global Client Base

(Watford, UK - August 5, 2004) - ACI Worldwide (Nasdaq: TSAI), a leading
international provider of enterprise e-payment solutions, today announced that Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka (CKB), the leading bank in the Republic of Montenegro, has licensed three software products from the ACI Commerce Framework. CKB intends to become the dominant player for transaction acquiring and card issuing in the region. With ACI's help, the company will improve time to market for its new card products and solutions, supporting its growing customer base and accelerating the overall economic development of Montenegro.

CKB has licensed BASE24-atm® and BASE24-pos® to process transactions from its current estate of ATMs and POS terminals. CKB previously outsourced transaction processing to an independent service provider but wanted to bring the capability in-house to gain increased control over delivery and improve time to market for its new solutions. CKB's ongoing plan to increase its estate of ATMs and POS devices will be simplified and therefore achieved more quickly with the new consolidated system.

Using BASE24-atm and BASE24-pos, CKB will be able to deploy new functionality and card products, including support for EMV and multi-currency capability, improving customer service and choice, and reducing the risks associated with credit and debit card fraud. BASE24 will operate on HP NonStop(tm) servers to provide scalable, 24/7 processing power for e-payment systems.

CKB has also deployed the ACI Card Management System(tm) to efficiently manage its cardholder base of 50,000 cards with plans to double its portfolio during 2004. The Card Management System is a complete plastic card system that will enable CKB to issue cards, maintain account information, track card usage and set ATM/POS transaction limits. It will also be used to provide PIN processing, card production and online enquiries, and reporting.

"Working together with ACI Worldwide to consolidate our operations means that we're empowered to progress at a rapid pace, while meeting international market standards," said Jelica Petricevic, executive director at Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka. "We will be the first institution in Montenegro to have EMV and multi-currency capability, ensuring our customers will benefit from the most advanced services available on the market. We will continue working closely with ACI and are considering further functionality to enhance the services we offer at the ATM."

"By introducing new banking products, CKB will help accelerate nationwide
economic development and strengthen the trust that has emerged in the new banking system of Montenegro," said Richard Launder, managing director of ACI Worldwide (EMEA). "We are delighted to be working closely with CKB to enhance its banking services and support EMV and multi-currency capability. This will create opportunities for the bank to expand beyond its existing market, helping it to become a leader in the region. This project is significant for ACI, as we continue to extend our global reach to not just a new customer, but also to a new country."
