16 June 2004, Stevenage, Hertfordshire: The Percana Group, a provider of mission critical software, outsourcing and consultancy services to the life and pensions industry, has concluded an agreement to form a strategic partnership with Sopra Group.
In accordance with the terms of the partnership agreement, Percana and Sopra Group will work together to develop opportunities in the UK Life and Pensions market. Sopra Group will provide Percana with increased sales and marketing capability, implementation and system integration support. Percana will provide their policy administration system Eclipse and in-depth life and pensions business knowledge, technological and product support.
Percana's Eclipse will complement Sopra Group's existing product offerings by allowing the two companies to jointly propose a complete end-to-end insurance solution. This incorporates a fully functional policy administration system combined with high quality implementation services including policy conversion, as well as ongoing application management and/or third party administration if required.
