Geneva – Reuters (RTR:LSE), the global information company, is holding the third of its 2004 Brightspot events in Geneva on the 8th – 10th June at which it will display its latest financial information and trading workflow products. It will also hold a number of seminars on key industry issues such as European regulation and implications and Enterprise-wide counter-party risk exposure management. Speakers will be taken from each of Reuters areas of product expertise.

The Geneva Brightspot follows on from the same customer event in Paris held earlier in May. It is designed to ensure customers have the opportunity to see the latest Reuters product releases and get an understanding of how best to use their products, ensuring maximum value for money from their Reuters system. A further European Brightspot will be held in Frankfurt on 22nd – 24th June before it moves on to New York and Hong Kong later in the year.

Reuters Brightspot events were first introduced in April 2003 in London. Subsequently further events were held in Paris, Geneva, Frankfurt, New York, HK and Tokyo. The Geneva Brightspot will take place in the Reuters office at Collonge-Bellerive in Geneva.
