Banc Of America Securities' Electronic Trading Services Group Announces Innovative Technology Alliance Program.First Alliance Partnership with Linedata Services

NEW YORK - Banc of America Securities’ (BAS) Electronic Trading Services™
group announced today an innovative program, the Electronic Trading Alliance, a
partnering framework in which BAS will partner with leading technology vendors and trading venues to provide seamless trading solutions for clients. BAS also
announced the Alliance’s first partner is Linedata Services, which will integrate access to Electronic Trading Services (ETS) products from LongView Trading, its order management system.

"Superior institutional trade-execution products require seamless and dependable
integration with a variety of key financial technology vendors," said Rob Flatley, managing director of ETS. "This program ensures that ETS and vendor members stay ahead of the innovation curve."

Flatley added, "Our platform spans a wide range of algorithmic and direct access
trading objectives in an anonymous and fully electronic fashion. The Electronic
Trading Alliance allows us to build tight integration across that spectrum into existing buy-side desktops, which improves workflow and reduces errors."

Linedata’s LongView Trading is a global, multi-asset class order management
system. A long established market-leading product, LongView has a 10-year plus
track record of serving the OMS needs of portfolio managers, traders, compliance
officers and operations personnel.

Annie Morris, senior vice president of Linedata Services, said, "Our partnership
combines the power of the top global trade order-management system with the
significant talent and technology resources of Banc of America Securities. This is truly a win-win situation which provides our mutual clients with world-class trading solutions."

"BAS is strongly committed to integrating leading technology as part of its offerings to clients," Flatley said. "Ease of access and use are key components of our ETS offerings. We work proactively with buy-side technology vendors to certify ‘plug-andplay’ connectivity to our platform through a single point and click."

ETS, which was launched in January 2004, is dedicated to developing and delivering a growing suite of electronic trading products to institutional investor clients. Through strategic acquisitions and development, ETS provides electronic trading products that satisfy virtually every institutional trading objective.
