Telekurs Financial is to open a new office in Edinburgh in Quarter two, 2004 to service and provide local support and development to the Scottish market.
Due to Basle II requirements and the increasing importance of risk management and STP applications there is a demand for more timely and accurate data. In order to meet these requirements it has become necessary to open a new office to focus on corporate actions and reference data solutions in this market. The Scottish operation will also continue to develop well-established business areas, including securities pricing and valuations.
At present the Scottish market is served by business consultant, John Anderson. As the new venture develops, he will be joined by both a sales and a product development specialist in order to provide greater support to the market.
CEO of Telekurs (U.K) Ltd. Beat Koch believes the new office will increase the level of local product expertise in Scotland.
