StreetEnterprise Platform nominated for IT Excellence Award
London - August 7, 2003 - Financial Technologies International (FTI), a leading provider of financial enterprise software, has been nominated for the inaugural 'Awards for 'IT Excellence in Investment Banking - Europe 2003' launched by Financial News, the leading weekly source of information about Europe's investment banking, fund management and securities industries. The nomination is the latest in a succession of honours for FTI and follows the recent prestigious technology award from The Banker magazine in the 'best reference data category.'
FTI is nominated for 'Best Software for STP' among many market leaders. The
finalists will be determined by a distinguished panel of 40 consultants, banks, electronic brokerages and vendors, and will be announced at a reception at Merchant Taylors' Hall in the City of London on the evening of Wednesday 17 September 2003. These awards aim to provide the definitive and authoritative industry view of the performance and strategy of the main information technology players in the European investment banking industry.
Michael Meriton, president and CEO, FTI, says: "We are proud to be recognised by Financial News as a leading provider of STP enabling solutions. We are the only software provider in the market today delivering a demonstrable end-to-end, integrated back-office straight-through- processing environment. This differentiates us from our peers and highlights our commitment to meeting customer expectations through robust and scalable solutions that clearly focus on helping the industry migrate from legacy system silo processing to true enterprise processing."
FTI will be unveiling its end-to-end financial enterprise processing solution with a demonstration at key industry events in the coming months.
