Winners of the Information Management Awards – Information Storage Product Award 2002

DataFort, provider of effortless off-site data back up, are delighted to be announced as the winner of the Information Storage Product Award at the 2002 Information Management Awards. This yearly event recognises products and services that have delivered significant and definable business benefits to the user as well as innovation and originality. The judging panel featured members of the press, the British Computer Society and key analysts such as Ovum and Gartner.

The DataFort Wide Area Back-Up product was selected as the most excitingand innovative new information storage product, out of a short list of eleven products. DataFort Wide Area Back-Up provides dependable secure off-site data storage that works onsite, within the security of the users’ firewall, shepherding company data from the network and compressing and encrypting it into a more manageable format. Thereby ensuring that the most vulnerable sector of business (SME’s) the continuity to offer their products and services even when disaster strikes.
