The Treasurer Deals of the Year awards have established themselves as the measure of the most impressive of the past year's completed corporate debt and equity deals.
The winners of The Treasurer's Deals of the Year 2002 awards were announced at The Association of Corporate Treasurers Annual Dinner on 13 November 2002, with Sir Edward George, Governor of the Bank of England as guest speaker.
The deals were chosen on the basis of their ability to set an example for other treasurers to emulate -- with due regard paid to the innovation, keen-pricing and sound treasury management practice reflected by each deal.
Richard Raeburn, Chief Executive of the ACT comments:
"Quality shines through in a tough market. Despite the difficult conditions over the past year, treasurers continue to bring exceptional deals to market. This is reflected in the winners of the annual Deals of the Year awards."
