COR Risk Solutions Boosts Sales Team

25th July 2002 - London - COR Risk Solutions (formerly BITA Plus Consultants), global provider of advanced portfolio analytics and optimisation software, has today announced the appointment of two new members of the sales team, Paul Lawrence and Carl Lauer, as part of the company's continuing expansion programme.

Carl Lauer has joined COR Risk Solutions (COR-RS) as Business Development Executive. He will be responsible for sales of the entire COR-RS product and services portfolio in the UK and Continental Europe. Carl's skills include expertise in trading and risk management gained at BP and Caminus, ten years' experience in software and services sales and fluency in four European languages.

Carl comments: "I was attracted to COR Risk Solutions by their significant expertise in portfolio risk management. I hope to use my experience in risk management and sales to help propel COR-RS into a new phase of growth."

Paul Lawrence has been appointed as Pre-Sales Consultant to work with potential clients to understand their requirements and identify how they can be best met by the company's solutions. Previously Paul was a Sales Support Consultant and Product Manager at Vestek-Quantec, where he was heavily involved in the development of European-focused products and Fixed Income systems. He brings to COR-RS specialist finance skills and a thorough knowledge of the market place.
