CALLING ALL BUSINESSES! SAGE JOINS FORCES WITH THE DAILY TELEGRAPH TO LAUNCH BUSINESS AWARDS

Today sees the launch of the Sage Business Awards 2002 in partnership with The Daily Telegraph, designed to recognise and reward successful businesses in the UK. The awards are aimed at reflecting good business practice, superior leadership, impressive customer service and imaginative use of the web. Award winners will receive free advertising in the Daily Telegraph, a range of Sage business software and the prestige of being judged to be one of the Sage Businesses of the Year 2002.

Businesses with 1-25 employees
Businesses with 26-100 employees
Businesses with over 100 employees

Awards in each category:
Best Business Leader (employee-nominated)
Best New Customer Service Initiative
Best Growth through use of Technology
Best New Business (open to businesses with 1-25 employees only)
Fastest Growing Business (open to businesses with +25 employees only)
Best Website (voted for by The Daily Telegraph readers)

The judges will be looking for proven results over the last 12 months.

The closing date for the awards is Tuesday 11th June. The awards ceremony will be held on 24th October at St James Park in Newcastle upon Tyne, home of Newcastle United Football Club.
