BUILDERS INSURANCE GROUP ENGAGES RAVELLO SOLUTIONS TO PROVIDE BEST- IN- CLASS WORKERS’ COMPENSATION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

ATLANTA, GEORGIA— April 18, 2002— Builders Insurance Group, Georgia’s leading writer of workers’ compensation, announced today it has engaged Ravello Solutions, a technology provider of workers’ compensation software, to develop a state-of-the-art, web-based solution customized for its agents and policyholders to conduct business online faster and easier.
"After an extensive nationwide search for a technology provider who could meet our expanding business needs, we chose Ravello Solutions," said Kenneth Branham, senior vice president of operations, Builders Insurance Group. "Ravello’s technology leverages our current IT infrastructure, and is well designed and equipped to communicate and process many of our business services completely online."

"The user-friendly Ravello operating system allows for rapid implementation of new and improved functionalities to the corporate website," Branham said. "The new service options are scheduled for a summer release."

Upon launch, Builders Insurance Group appointed agents will be able to access their book of business online. In addition to viewing their book of business at anytime, agents will be able to self-service their accounts by performing policy changes, renewals and audits. Policyholders will also be able to take advantage of the new system with service options such as requesting updates to their policy and making real-time online payment of premiums, along with the ability to submit monthly self-reporting audits.
