Sage has appointed a general manager to launch and manage the delivery of its new product Sage Contact Manager powered by ACT! Clive Gray will be responsible for rolling out and maximising the potential for Sage Contact Manager using Sage's authorised channel of resellers.
Clive has a wealth of experience in management and development having held a
number of senior positions. His most recent was with a top Sage reseller, where he was managing director. However his main business experience has been outside the software industry, where he has held several commercial roles in organisations such as Greene King, Allied Domecq and Scottish and Newcastle.
Commenting on the appointment, Graham Wylie, managing director for Sage in the UK, said: "I am delighted to appoint someone of Clive's calibre to Sage. The reseller channel has been particularly successful in the past in promoting and selling Sage solutions, and with Clive's assistance, we are confident they will become equally successful in their selling of Sage Contact Manager. Working with a highly motivated team, Clive will also provide dedicated resource to Sage and its resellers, to support the sales and marketing effort for Sage Contact Manager, as well as providing the strategy to maintain that focus."

Sage Contact Manager utilises the technology of ACT! the best-selling contact management product now also part of the Sage range, following the company's acquisition of Interact last year.
