Jaqueline Outram Named Kamakura Australia and Asia-Pacific Managing Director.

HONOLULU, January 15, 2002-- Honolulu-based Kamakura Corporation announced today that Ms. Jaqueline Outram has been named Managing Director at Kamakura in charge of client relationships and operations in Australia and the Asian Pacific region. Ms. Outram, who was also appointed to the Kamakura Corporation Managing Committee, joined Kamakura Corporation in October, 2001 after a distinguished career as a risk management and financial strategy consultant. Ms. Outram has led assignments regarding the establishment of value-based performance measurement frameworks and risk adjusted capital allocation methodologies and has trained over 500 Australian bankers in the application of these techniques. Prior to consulting, Ms. Outram was the global senior manager for shareholder value added at ANZ Bank, Melbourne.

"We are very pleased to have Jaqueline Outram on the Managing Committee at Kamakura," said Dr. Donald R. van Deventer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Kamakura Corporation. "Her broad strategic view of risk and performance measurement has already contributed a great deal to the sophistication of the Australian banking sector, where Kamakura’s Kamakura Risk Manager software product has been purchased by firms with assets in excess of 350 billion U.S. dollars. We know that Kamakura clients and our marketing partners Fiserv/IPS-Sendero and Unisys will benefit enormously from Jaqueline’s expertise." Japan and Korea client relationships at Kamakura will continue to be managed by Kamakura Corporation’s Tokyo office.
