LONDON, December 5, 2001 - Cognotec, the world’s leading provider of e-commerce enabled dealing services, has been voted the leading provider of electronic dealing solutions by the global readership of the ‘FX Week’ publication. Cognotec’s innovative AutoDeal suite of products was voted "Best Automated Dealing Technology" in the FX Week Best Banks Survey 2001.
Cognotec has won the award every year since the category was introduced in 1998.
The results of the poll were compiled by FX Week of the Risk Waters Group publishing house and were announced this week. Nearly 1,000 responses were submitted by market participants from banks and other institutions from around the world. They were asked to nominate the top three banks, institutions and vendors in 30 categories.
"It is particularly gratifying to come out on top again. We have concentrated on enabling AutoDeal banks to develop their own e-commerce strategy and to manage their connectivity requirements to the increasing number of multi-bank trading platforms. Winning this award provides further confirmation of our strategy of listening to our clients and delivering what the market wants," commented Brian Maccaba, Cognotec chairman.
